anyone know where i can buy OEM EK -99-00 HEAD LIGHTS or the actual black ones.. i wanna paint my headlights dark but i wanna have a spare incase i change my mind.. also im not so good at D.I.Y stuff do anybody do a good job for a fair price?

b careful when u paint it.. if the paints not thick enough light will shine thru...

They are illegal, I had mine tinted before and got hit hard :P

Afterwhich, I just bought a pair of headlight protectors and use Night Shades to tint the headlight protectors...

my indicators and tail light section on my crx gen 2 are all darkened..never been pulled over for it.. it looks dark durin day but allows adequate light @ night..
if i got time i take some piccies and show u

u dun paint the cover... u take it apart and paint inside... the part that is to be paint aint gonna reflect any light... the actual reflector reminds unpainted..

y paint the lens man?? it ll affect the light beam... do it properly la... u ll love it...

don't paint the lens... these look way hot....

hey dude i got a mate that can do them for ya, pm for a price

i doubt u can ghet defected for it, the painted part has nothing to do with reflecting the light...ive had no hassles for mine...plus if the cops ask u say they are "limited edition" hehe

..i think u better write up a DIY thread about the headlight
or maybe u can just do them for us.....
or even u can buy some 2nd headlight and painted them...then sell them..
u can make a lot of $$$$

yea i just did my lights a couple days ago it was pretty hard at first but yea go em done pretty good i must say. Doubt cops can screw u over with havin a black housin becoz ur lghts can still reflect.

sry mate... i dun have the time to do the set for u ... but its not hard... just takes a bit of time... tahts all...

try honbits they should have used headlights... and they do delivery as well... so u might want to give them a buzz...

can i just add that u want to use something VERY heat resistant to paint? use standard acrylic paint and the paint will heat up tot he point where it might start bubbling, causing a lot of mess.

I had a mate who did this, and he said use something called "extra tough epoxY' or brake caliper paint...
