Reversing camera on 2012 HONDA CIVIC 9th Gen VTI-S

Hi All

Just ordered my Honda today. I'm pretty excited about new Honda. Just got a quick question about installing reversing camera. Is it possible to have camera picture displayed on the iMid. The bloke at dealer said that it is not possible because iMid on this model is different to iMid on the VTI-L. If anyone could comment on that it will be great. I dont want to order the camera only to find out that it will not work.

what hatch did u get? the new updated Civic VTi-S hatch that is arriving now has reverse camera standard

All civic hatches we get are from swindon, UK.

I can't think that the Imid is really that different.

Thank you. I checked the car at the dealer and the hidden camera menu is there.

To add a camera it may be as simple as wiring it up, setting up the unit on the car and hooking it up to the I-MID system.

The system may see that there is a camera and show up when in reverse or you may need to get the system updated which australian honda dealers won't know how to do.
