OK, so recently my clutch died so I replaced the clutch at home(it was a massive job)

Put everything back together and now the engine seems kind of sluggish.

For instance it does not seem to be revving normally through the rev range and when I hit vtec I hear the crossover and feel it then it kind of slugs off as the rpm gets higher like 5k+.

Also am I to expect minor slipping while the new clutch wears in?

Thanks.

Did you let the new clutch bed in or just drive it hard after install?

You need to drive it mildly and not dump it or high revs for about 1000kms so the clutch can wear in with the flywheel

also is it new flywheel or used the old one?

Break in period should be that of 500 miles of city type driving, double the break in period for highway driving. No aggressive driving. No hole shots or drag launches. Gear changes should be made at 4,000 RPM or less. No speed shifting.

check that you didnt move/ bump the tps in any way, adjust is back to .46v at closed throttle if so

Yes still wearing it in, read a guide beforehand. I've only done like 30km's around suburbs.
And used the old flywheel.

I don't see how I could have bump the TPS, seeing as it is attached quite solidly.
I'll check tomorow morning, as for adjusting it how do I do so?

Long shoot. But did you go from a really light clutch to something heavier!
