View Full Version : Bought car today, CD player not working? ouch.

Hey all,

I am brand new to this forum, picked up a FN2 Civic Type R today, drives perfectly and everything is working well, however i tried putting a few CD's in the CD player, and it would either stay in there and not play, or read DISC READ ERROR...
(Cd's purchased from a shop, Mp3 CD, and Burnt Music CD) same thing.

I know it's no biggie, but i love my music.... should i go back to the dealer or perhaps try a CD cleaner kit?

Maybe it doesnt play MP3's ?

Maybe the CD laser is dead, or out of alignment.

Take it back where you got it, or look at finding a replacement.
