Hi guys,

I have an opportunity to get a 93 Honda Legend fairly cheap but I need some info about it first.

I can tell you that it's an import and it has a 3.2L V6 engine in it, the engine code I believe is 6M91.

It does need a bit of work done to it. It needs a waterpump and a timing belt just that I know of, but I can't seem to find a listing on that engine. I have, however, found a listing on a C32A based on the size and year.

I was wondering if anyone knew whether it would be the same engine, but just with a different code because its an import.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Jamie

6m91 isn't a Honda engine code...

C32A is the engine for Legends but whether there is a difference between JDM and AUDM someone else will have to chime in

If it needs a water pump, timing belt etc/work in it
You better be getting the car cheap
Even though it was worth 80k 20 years ago
it's worth about 3-5k now
How many kms on it?
Any idea of the condition of engine (compression test/leak down)

If you want it just buy it. Any reasonable mechanic will be able to source the right belt and pump regardless of whether or not you can figure out what engine it has - they should be able to.

Got a link? Or not on the net?

It's not on the net or anything.

I've decided not to go for it though. It's too much of a risk I think.

Thanks Everyone for their input though.

How much is it going for? Could be very much worth the risk...
