I think this might be normal ?
As in, my clock light is brighter when my headlights are off..
Then goes dimmer when they're on..
Same when my audio system hits low notes..

LOL panda.

Well Ive been reading lately, to help with the dimming of the 'interior' clock lights when ur head lights are turned on.

You need to get some ground cable to help with teh electrical flow from the alternator.

Anyways search on teh forums about ground kits etc.

the reason it dims, is so at night time, you dont get "dazzled" by it.

same way the toyota echos entire (digital) dash dims when u turn on the headlights... its just too bright

dont the cars usually have knob somewhere, well most of the time that little knob somewhere near the speedo/tacho that you use to reset the trip meter but it also turns left and right, that you turn and it adjusts the brightness of the dials and sometimes dashboard and accessories etc.

everyones car cant have old LED's,
my old car did it (ed)
my current does it (EG)
my mums does it (hyundai)
the work car does it (echo)

its so it doesnt glare into your eyes when it dark outside (the reason u have ur lights on is usually coz its dark) and then distract you. Other cars might have it wired into their dash dimmers but all these hondas mentioned DO NOT.

you car is FINE, your battery FINE, alternator FINE and EVEN your L.E.D's are all FINE

SETTLED.....

PS Did n e one notice that if the engines off, u can still look at the time by pressing the flap that covers the bottons that adjust the time?
