hey guys!
im looking at putting a B16B EK9 type r engine into my Ej8 coupe'

i'm struggling to find correct parts, such as gaskets, clutches, intakes, tb's.
will most Bseries/B16 stuff fit the engine?
or is there a website i should be looking on?

thank you :)

Sorry, I can't answer your questions directly... but I'm going to be the first to say it... why b16b? They're so expensive and rare, and will get cleaned up by a b18cr

Yeah I agree with Curtis, I had a b16b in my civic purely because I could get away with it on my ps legally with no mod plate, but sorta regretted not going b18cr. Torque difference is night and day, b18cr is way more drivable on the street, as you barely need to go over 3k rpm to climb hills whereas the b16b needed to be over 3k sometimes.
If I had a do over I would of gone b18cr. Better gearbox too with the shorter final drive.

Basically everything from the B18CR or B16A will fit. Things like intake manifolds and TB's, gaskets, clutches etc should all be the same.

And yes. Why B16B? It's a B18CR with 200 less CC's and a camshaft that has a 276 lift duration compared to a 272 I think?
