Bisimoto is a top quality header that will give great gains if you are happy to sacrifice a/c

b16b engine, my budget around 800 , running the whole spoon n1 complete system so want decent headers but good priced. not like toda which are 1,500 loll

I just ripped my mugen 4-1 for b18c off.. b16b has same block height as b18c so any header for b16 wont fit. Still trying to decide if i will sell or not but itd be perfect for your setup and runs a 2.5" collector. I can prob do it for 800 as it has some small dents in bottom and needs a polish on the outside. Previous owner had it ceramic coated inside and out, i had it sandblasted leaving internal ceramic coating but havent got all of it off the outside. Great top end gains from this header and u get that subtle 'boxer' throbbing tone, sounded badass on my spoon n1 cat back. Prob got pics of it throughout my 'spoonin up the eg' thread in the gallery.

If you can afford the complete Spoon N1 catback why don't you get the Spoon Header as well?

There is one for sale @ the parts for sale section.

This.

5Zigen, Fujitsubo and RS*R are all good options. Otherwise PLM or XForce can be had cheap. With your budget though I'd strongly consider the Bisimoto piece.

PLM TA's would bolt-up to your exhaust system. Best bang for buck header on the market

It's deliberate. The primaries are designed like that to optimise ground clearance and power (by making the individual tubes equal length).

Same design as Toda without the heavy price tag. Some results shows within 1/2 hp of the real deal

4-2-1

MYEK9
13-02-2013, 06:26 PM
many people are telling me to go 4-1 , im so confused argh

curtis265
13-02-2013, 06:31 PM
4-1 will give top end gains, 4-2-1 will give you more midrange torque. comes down to what you prefer

it will make you read higher on the dyno and faster over long drag races, but for a short race the 4-2-1 will outperform it

MYEK9
13-02-2013, 09:23 PM
i reckon j's racing 4-2-1 headers or the tiegwa that @MR.Grim told me about , they are an identical replica of Toda Headers, and are only $700
