Hey all,

Just wondering what parts can be grabbed from a vtir integra and placed into my civic hatch eg5.

There's a guy in Adelaide which is wrecking his teggy and I wouldn't mind getting parts which would benefit my civic if his parts are affordable.

Any opinions would awesome

Plenty of them will fit, but I doubt many of them would 'benefit' you so to speak. The suspension components (shocks/springs, sway bars, control arms, camber arms etc) are all compatible but probably the same/you wouldn't see any real improvement unless he has aftermarket pieces.

Engine will fit with some fiddling (not an easy job necessarily) but would be more fun that your D16.

Best thing to get would be 262mm front brake upgrade with brake booster and master cylinder

I find that the seats are a little better too, gives a semi bucket feel opposed to the ones in the eg.

Sway bars are still 21mm front and 14mm rear from memory. So no difference.

DC2 seats ( Sits lower )
DC2 front ( DIY )
Suspension, all. control arms, etc.

He has an EG5, which the suspension is almost identical to a VTIR.

He already has rear disk brakes which are same size as VTI-R
DC2 Dash needs cutting
DC2 front - really?
Suspension - they are exactly the same in an eg5.
Sway bars - as above
Exhaust - it's rarely worthwhile to cut and reweld an oem exhaust, rather custom 2.25" or something.

is the sway bar really the same? thought DC2 would have a better one.

25mm (f) 23mm (r)

AUDM is 24mm

On the VTI-R the rear sway bar is 14mm
