Has anyone done this before? I want to know is it worth doing as I was giving a mugen twin loop muffer. Also I want to know what it would sound like too on the base model. Can anyone help me out? Also any power gain or loss?

You should be fine bolting it on. Dont expect to see power gains as it is only a cat back and is more for noise than anything

Ok thanks for the reply but honestly I am not really after any gains just a better sound. Will I get the same sound as a type r before vtec kicks in?

Mugen twin loop has been proven to lose power.

Yer I have read that too. So do you think a 2.25 inch cannon is better?

I am now stuck with two choices either I use the mugen twin loop or I can get a cannon? Also I will probably instal an injen cai soon to as a friend has given me his one. I am after a nice sound over performance but I would like to not loss any either. Any opinions?

Don;t you even think about it.

Spend the extra money and get a cat back system (preferrably Japanese brand) for that nice tone and growl in VTEC>. If you get a canon, you will get a horrible raspy/farty sound with most of them...

If you got the twin loop just install it and call it a day.

Have you seen the DC5 exhuast catalogue on youtube? Once you do you will probably want to spend the extra on a decent exhaust, its manual right ?

Honestly, i know this is going sound mean but i wouldn't bother with an exhaust on a AUTO base DC5, if it was manual, you'd feel slight gains through any modification you do but with the auto your going to lose any power you gain through the drive train.
Just a thought
