View Full Version : Is this possible to get out?

Hey everyone,
So I recently had a "friend" and a bunch of his friends leave 4 KFC Potato & Gravy cups upside down on my car, I have no idea how long they were there, but they were incredible hard to scrub off.
After the water had dried from me washing my car, I noticed there were a couple of smudges left in my paint from the cups, one on the back and one in the centre of my bonnet.
At first I thought I may need to just scrub harder, but after 5+ more times washing my car, they did not change or wash away in the slightest.
Is there any way I could possibly get these out, without needing to go to a professional cleaner or having my car resprayed?
And if not, would it be possible at all to sue these stains on society, and have them pay to have my car fixed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

My dad came round, as he used to be a mechanic and knows quite a lot about cars in general.
He tried using some cutting compound, it came out, but only barely, still incredibly noticeable.
Would it still be worth giving claybar a shot?

Try stabbing the guy and using his blood to clean it off.

Lol...

I got stuff from work thatll decompose that stuff and wipe it off. But no idea what it is. Usually use it on dried up eg yolk on paint.

Yeah sorry about that title, was only supposed to be a filler when I was writing the thread, but forgot to change it.
Is there anyway you'd be able to find out what it's called?
I'd be eternally in your debt if it worked

Wet sand it with 2000 grit then hit it with abrasives moving up in fineness

Would I need to put clear coat on after doing this?
I'm guessing I would, but I don't really have the know-how when it comes to cleaning car paint.

Also, sorry for the not replying to your question before, I use ArmorAll Car Wash

It does look like you need to take a fine layer off the clearcoat but if youre not confident then best to get a good mate who is experienced to assist rather than mess it up

Nah u dont need to clear coat it, you're only sanding off part of the clear coat that's got the delicious P&G in it. just apply wax on afterwards for sum protekshun

Hey guys, after my dad insisted a couple more tries with the cutting compound.
It is no longer visible unless under direct sunlight, I'm hoping I should be able to buff the rest out.
Failing that, I'll give both a wet sand, and a clay bar a try.
I will post pictures soon, when I manage to find my phone.
Thank you all so much for the help, I truly appreciate it.
And I no longer am required to murder my friend and/or his family.
I will still be getting some form of payback though.

Here are the after pictures I was finally able to take

Also, the reason the light bends on the bonnet is because I have a rather large dint, which occurred prior to this event.

Thanks again for all the advice guys

To be completely honest, it's probably because I washed my car just before taking these pictures, to make sure there wasn't dirt hiding the paint damage :P
