[DETAIL] Hyundai Veloster Nanolex Nanolex Paint Protection & Paint Correction

It is nothing unusual for CCP to see Brand New Cars like this Hyundai Veloster covered in holograms, marring, swirls and other contaminants directly from the dealer. Usually caused by the dealership itself and not actually by the factory which is very unfortunate for those who spend quite a substantial amount of money to receive a "NEW" car, not 'as new' car. The condition some of us would classify as 'disgusting' and 'ridiculous' but many others may not even notice which is quite frightening just the thought. But this is common practice for many dealerships and nothing seems to progress over time with their techniques.

Granted the car did arrive to us during a rainy day so water marks were found on the car of course. However as shown below you can see quite evident holograms, swirls and other imperfections throughout the entire car's paintwork


Greasy Finger Prints inside the wheels were found - Did the rotate the tyres, change the wheels, who knows!

They did a fantastic job of ruining this black paint!

The Holograms & Swirls came as "part of the package" and they were not charged for this 'option' when purchasing!

An APC (http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/product/mint/apc)Snow Foam Wash (http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/product/autobrite/ab_snow_foam_lance) was in order to remove all product from the dealer that had been left and any contaminants of course as well. We allowed about 10m for the APC/Snowfoam to Dwell

After the lovely foam bath a good clay with the gentle dodo juice clay bar (http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/product/dodo_juice/dodo_clay_and_born_slippy_duo) of the paintwork and glass was needed, thankfully not that many contaminants came off the car as we thought would of.[/b]

Starting off in the correction side of things. Using the DAS6-Pro (http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/product/car_care_products/ro_polisher_das6_pro_kit_lake_country) with the Surbuf Microfibre Pad & Menzerna FG500 - after one pass you can see already the difference to the clarity and depth of the paint.

After another pass with PF2500 and Menzerna Yellow Pad the Metallic and Depth in the paint really started to show!

Finishing off with our favourite, Menzerna SF4000 to bring that final amount of gloss factor and depth from the Hyundai's Paint.


Using the strong Nanolex Surface Cleaner for a complete 2 stage wipe down to remove all left over polishing oils and residue before applying Nanolex Ultra Paint Protection to give this unusual '3 door' Hyundai Veloster 3 years worth of Paint Protection and some added gloss and depth. We must admit, we are quite fond of the shape and Hyundai has definitely come a long way in design and quality!
