planning to buy and spray paint a front bumper

hey i have a civic ek4 vtir 98 model. I'm gonna get a front bumper and i wanted a ek9 front bumper but people say it won't fit. so what do you think would look good on it?

A front lip looks good most of the time.

it will fit lol, just if you get the facelift ones itll require the whole front changed. Just buy em1 front, same as ek9 and much cheaper

oh so it fits on a 98 ek4 right? i'd might as well get that, respray it and get lips! :D

If you get the prefacelift ek9 front bumper it will fit bolt on because an ek9 front bumper is just an ej8 front bar with a type r lip. However if you want facelift then change whole front end (basically what mrtony said). I done a facelift conversion and diy sprayed my front end, all up costed me $1k

facelift 99-00 = need fenders, bonnet, grill and front bar

you can get preface ek9 front bar which suits the 98 model and it's the same bar as the ej8 coupe
