Depends what you need. Some bits don't exist. Some bits over the counter. But that was last year.

I used to have one....well two technically...about a year and a half two years ago...had one that was my uncles and has been in he family for 15 or so years....totally stripped that one, and dropped the engine from that one into another City Turbo that had a better body....unfortunately didn't finish it, and was costing too much so sold the good car and the spare parts.

Was white with pearl....nice little car...this was the one we actually ended up dismantling for parts..and the other one was stock white, with green bumpers lol...

1st one is standard model. 2nd one is known as the bulldog - see flared guards etc...its the turbo version....

I've even seen the later non turbo model - 88 shape....looks like a daihatsu charade.

you should check out. www.cityturbo.com for information

turbo_del_sol

cityturbo bought my old car that car used to fly,

Aas for how fast they are my old car ran 1bar boost, pod filter, and 2 1/4 inch from the cat back, and it used to own commodores and falcon 6's. It beat a swift GTI too and a few other cars.
There was a mugen version that ran 13.2 which had the usual mods and cams.
The ride in them is awful, like driving a bus. and my knees hit the steering wheel
All in all something different kinda quickish and hard to finda parts for.
IMO i wouldnt buy another one

Had one a few years ago, a fluro yellow 1987 City R model imported from Japan sometime in the early 1990s. It was an "R", but def not like a type R haha

That thing was slow and old and loud and uncomfortable, and at the slightest whif of rain the dizzy cap would get wet and the bugger would stop instantly.

Kinda had personality though

how such a small car with a very short wheelbase drive like a bus?
