you have climate control

the coil is used when you have a fan switch with non climate control ( AUDM )

the transistor is used when you have climate control as the climate control control unit uses that to vary the fan speed rather than a manual switch and resistor.

it may be possible to repair your fan speed controller, possibly blown FET/Transistor

if it looks the same possibly yes

I usually test the old unit to confirm it is dead, sometimes they can be fixed
