I am having a lot of trouble finding my thermo fan switch. It is not where the haynes manual says it is. Although the manual seems to focus on EFI engines, I have the D15B4 in a 1990 ED civic. The fan doesn't turn on while the engine is warming up (it is meant to twice) and also doesn't turn on when the thermostat is reading 105-110C I have checked the motor by directly hoking it up to the battery and it works fine (also turns on when I turn AC on). Haynes manual now says to check the fan switch but I can not find it anywhere after an hours plus searching. (Manual says it is at the bottom of the radiator and the picture shows it next to the hose connecting to radiator).

Does anyone know where to find it in this model engine/car? Thanks.

yeah, one of the two

as above carby engines had it in the back of the block near the oil filter, two wires coming out of it.
