I was in a car accident and it was admittedly my fault. I have third party insurance so I require an estimate of how much this will cost me to repair.

The number plate is also damaged and the grill has come off a bit.

While it looks bad.

Most of that stuff can come off with cut and polish .

If unsure just ask your local automotive store (Supercheap, Repco, Autobarn)

Yes there will still be some damage but it looks minor.

I would be more worried if there is actual mechanical or structural behind the bumper.

no dont ask your local automotive store. go into a specialist auto paints store (complete auto paints in clayton has nice bloke) to take a look and tell you what you need to do to fix it. reputable one of course

im just assuming you live in vic from what i can see of your number plate

As the grill assembly simply clips into a ledge at the bottom, it has most likely become unseated, all you have to do is take off the radiator cover, take the push pins out of the grill assembly and re-seat it so it will be flush again, all in all its a 10 minute job.

In regards to the paint, I'd consider both advice above, charliebrown has made a decent recommendation in seeking a professionals opinion on the damage, which will at least give you somewhere to start.

Good luck!
