Hi all, first post.
One of the boot lid springs broke on our Accord sedan the other day. These are the rods that hook onto the body on one side and cross over to hook on the boot arms on the other side. I guess fatigue got the better of it and bang! Broke near the hook on the boot lid.
Honda want $35 for one. One of the US sites has it for $3.23, but doesn't ship to Oz.
So any suggestions on best place to get one? Prefer new but after market ok if anyone else makes them. Seems a recurring problem in Oz - parts so expensive. Shipping from US could be expensive due to size.
Should I replace both at once or just the broken one and leave the other until/if it ever breaks?
