door handle very loose

dont know how to describe it but the door handle on the driver's side feels really loose, unresponsive, light, not stiff... in comparison to the passengers side, so just wondering if there is a way to fix it. do i have to take the whole door apart ?

chances are that u just need a new handle, yes you need to take the door apart but since thats like 3 screws i think u can muster the effort. theres a spring in the hand that sounds like its worn out or missing, they arnt available seperate from the handle

go to your local wreckers and bring along tools

use yellow pages or google for places

or talk to honda dealer, they are arnt thay expensive and replacing 20 year old parts with 20 year old parts may not give u peice of mind

You could always open the passengers door instead and jump in that way, you wouldn't notice the worn handle and you'll save money!
