Thinking of sandblasting them and re-painting. Will corrosion come back? Or what's the best solution?

Hi guys, from last few weeks, I realize my front right wheels is leaking air slowly. Checked all over & found no puncture. Took it to Kmart tyres today, they checked out & found some spots around the interior of rim have a bit of bubbled corrosion where air leaking out between the tyre. Have any of you experiencing similar problem before? Mine is the stock CL9 sport alloy, can this happen to alloy wheels?

Have you considered submerging the wheel to confirm

Kmart did that & that's what they told me. They sanded back & coated those spots for me to see if it works. I've haven't got a chance to re-check the pressure yet.
