Who has had experience with these batteries? How long do they last for in a daily driver?

I understand they don't like cold weather and not being used for long periods of time.

Cheers

I've had mine for nearly 4 years now, no troublessssss.

Just keep it on trickle charge when you won't be using the battery for a while, don't expect to drive a stereo from it.

I bought one of the full size PC1200 from BatteryWorld and it died after 2 years

wouldn't touch them again after $400 down the drain

I just have a stock sound system in my car atm, no other electrical mods.

Where is the cheapest i can get one from? They also come with terminals to suit Honda or is that extra $$$?

id avoid it and get something larger for daily. I replaced my golf battery with a deka etx30l -good battery - 9ish kg , tested 500CCA's and feels very strong.

Remember with any of these absorbed glass mat batteries they will die quickly if used with the engine off. So , change your habits and they should last some time. Not as long as a new OEM equivalent but some time.

Is the Deka the same size as the PC680? What warranty do they come with?

Sorry the deka I have is one of the largest "motorcycle/atv" batteries they make - that can be used for cars.
It comes with a usual 12 month manufacturer warranty. It's a compromise , lightweight without being stupidly light and little reserve.

If you are looking at starting only and need the lightest - grab something like a ballistic evo 16 cell - http://www.ballisticparts.com/products/batteries/16cell.php - 1.6kgs lol
