Hey there HONDA-ers!

Im Nick!

Currently driving a Honda Jazz Vti-s with a few mods on it, not looking to squeeze too many horses out of it but its a comfy drive! Has coilovers, rays rims, few trims and is just really nice and neat.

I also have an ek1 (2000) civic i just inhereted for cheap which is my new project. Looking to spray it and dump on its ass with some full-on camber. No its not practical, but for a very cheap project car id rather go all out and make it look HEKTIK! So far got rid of the dent mostly in rear quarter (filling again before paint) and given it a bit of paint on trims/wheels and a polish!

The jazz has been blacked out since i got it! (Dark tint, tinted indicators, plastidipped rims, sprayed headlights, sprayed brakes)
the only thing not black is the licence plates and the headlight bits i didnt paint cause you cant :) and i still have the front bar only for meets!

Anyways, just seeking a few parts for the civic (adjustable camber, coilovers) so hopefully someone can help me within my budget :)

Here are a few before/after pics of both cars! Also ill do some research, but id liek to be put in the right direction for some ek coilovers (2nd hand), and any bits i need for the camber setup (camber/toe adjustment, control arms).

Thanks

Its a J's racing wing worth $800. I got it with the sale and only use it for meets. The picture doesnt do it justice, and yeah i want to put it on its ass haha. You think just a camber kit will give it enough camber to notice? Like, negative camber?

I have no idea about stancing cars...

Welcome abourd!

How far do you plan on lowering the ek? What wheel & tyre dimensions are you going to run?

Depending on if you do guard work or not will partially determin if you need camber kits, as there are people who have run very aggresive stance set ups on stocket camber arms.

Do your research first before jumping into it and you will be fine.

Best of luck with the build

Thanks!

And its a project, but the wheels already on it sit out a bit. I wanted to get the camber kit to INCREASE the stance look.

I just wanted to run the wheels i have on it, but getting lower springs soon so they will restrict the height.

Also, Jasemas or whatever your name is, i dont have an idea, hence joining a forum and asking for advice?

But yeah since i have the civic and i just want to go all out, not productive at all, i want to get it heaps obvious.

I am doing my research, its just not much help after a few times googling :) but yeah, thanks for the introduction!

Hey there!

I bought this 6 months or so ago. The old owner maybe lived around there, but theres another similar one with orange rims you may be referring to!

Welcome to OzHonda.

Nice Jazz. Are the roof racks going to be used or are they just for the U.S. look?

In regards to the EK, I don't understand what there is to like about the whole "stance" thing and what the point of dialing in a ridiculous amount of camber is. But each to their own.

I personally think it would look nice with simply the right amount of offset (not "poking" though) and minimal camber.

Also something to keep in mind, if you just buy lowering springs that "slam it on it's ass" and do not install lowered shocks to match, you will quickly kill your stock shocks. Just some advice to save you $$$ in repairs later.

Good luck with the build.

Hi mate

yeah i ride bike for fitness, but for now its just there for looks until i spray em black and ready for the bike!

I sold the ek already, but i was more than happy with the price with that too!!

The Jazz is looking to have the stock bonnet put back on now though, think itll look nicer!
