i have a 93 jdm honda integra dc2 and have been looking for parts for a roady for the last few weeks finally got everything i need after finding out that alot of the parts differ between jdm and ausdm so i decided to reasearch my engine a bit so i know what differs and learn a bit about my car so i typed my engine number into google and didnt come back with any results, my codes b18c1012162 its a 1993 jdm imported dc2 anyone know if theres a book on it or a site I can find some info on it

On the engine, facing forwards, right near where the engine mates to the gearbox, there will be a stamp, with the engine series in big letters, and a serial number under it.

It should just say B18C, but it might have a number after the C, and this will tell us exactly what motor you have.

Ok so that indicates it is definitely a JDM motor.

What info do you need on it, specifically ?

at the time I was after what fuel pump I needed to get but im probally going to just pull the old one out and look for a code
but I did want a sort of reffernce for my car that I could turn to if I needed it insted of posting in the noob fourm all the time haha

well the engine number wont change what fuel pump you need.

Just uyse the year and the chassis code.

93 DC2.

apparently it will i have message a few places aelling fuel pump for dc2 and they said it will not fit mine
I have been using the year and chassis but has lead to alot of returning parts

engine number shouldnt affect it. you could use any dc2 pump. even like an eg civic pump will fit. if you can source a itr one, even better, its punps an extra 20lph or so. goodluck mate
