Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows whether the front knuckle arms of eg, dc2 gsi or vtir is interchangeable to fit my dc2r???

I only need the knuckle arm as I will be reusing the hub (5stud) and wheel bearing

Thanks heaps

Unfortunately not, Your caliper will not fit properly on the 262mm knuckle without using a 3mm spacer or shaving the caliper bracket by 3mm.

Yes, dc2 VTIR and EK4 uses 262mm, EGs have 242mm rotors stock.

if audm itr, it uses same bearing for gsi/vtir.
same part number.

make sure it has bolt holes for abs line.
so you could probably use gsi knuckle and 3mm spacer under rotor.

when i did the brake swap from my DC2 (vtir) to EG. i found the steering knuckles were different, and the Calipers too.
the DC2 knuckle and caliper is a bit bigger for the 260mm rotor but the EG one is smaller. the knuckles them selves can be swapped among each other, but calipers must be used with appropriate knuckles.

However DC2R 280mm set up calipers will fit the DC2 Knuckle.
If you run the 3 mm spacer between the hub and the rotor to space it out

PS.
Apparently the mini cooper has the same size rotors but are offset by 3mm which would make a perfect fit for a 4 stuf application

and also i believe the CRV caliper from that era was designed for a 280mm rotor and that they fit the DC2 knuckle?
