if you undo any of the screws on top and look inside you shouldn't be able to see any metal plates. If you do you can top up with distilled water. I did this to mine but it still died completely after a few more weeks. If you can, just take the old one with you to show them. Or maybe just tell them your car. Just watch out when carrying it around. If they have holes in the top and it tips over. ;) The acid will burn nice clean holes in any clothes.

How old is the battery? It more than 3 - 4 years old.. (depending on the condition of the battery).. you'd be looking at replacing them.. either drive to the service station that sells battery and get them to change for you or DIY. Be careful when DIY.. check your manual for the correct step concerning the airbags and sh*ts like that.. Get hold of the security code for your radio if it needs one.. you might have to punch in the code again after the new battery.
acid ey... i centainly dun want to mess with it...
just to be safe i think i might just take it to the local service station to chage it...
i already have after market HU so i m not worry abt the code thing.. thx guys...

once you have replaced the battery, if it continues to do this i would say that your altenator is not chargeing the battery properly
if you want to have it tested go to an automotive shop and ask them to test your battery they attatch a devise looks like a multimeter which then runs through a series of tasks such as rev the car, let it idle, turn the lights on, rev the car with the lights on etc
it basically tests the diode ripple
the alternator (charging system)
the condition of your battery and gives figures to go by in volts
takes about 2 mins

thx mate... yea just replace my batt.. today ... damn not cheap ... 80 bucks for a bosch silver... so i ll prob. just wait and see.. if it still dies then i ll go and check the altenator ... but if its the altenator that fails.. does that mean big $$?
