ek d16 transmission to fit in d15b7 eg8

hey guys
my auto transmission has died on the eg and i need to replace it my friend recently did an ek engine swap and he has a d16y8 auto transmission i can have for free was just wondering will it fit on my car or will i have to modify it to fit ?

It will fit, no problems.

yep pritty sure all d series boxes are interchangable.

mechanically it will fit

electronically I think they are different and you will not get it to work with out incorporating the PCM ( AT ECU )


simple check on the new AT does it have 2 or 4 solenoids compare that to the two solenoids your D15 AT has in the EG
