after the vafc2 is installed its best to get it on road tune.
dyno is just a free run and you still have to tune on road again after dyno, where on road tune its the actual car performance and only once.

i dont live in mel so i dont know where to get it install.

vafc2 is easy to install, but if you own a type S dont bother DIY cause there no installation diagram ( NO ONE HAVE IT IN JAP, USA and AUS NOT EVEN Apex them self).

:D

Used to have e-manage but the ignition function caused the car to jerk during idling.... anyway emanage can only tune the open loop portion....in other words, during cruising, ur ECU is not 'fooled' by ur piggybk signal.....E mangage kicks in during WOT....

wat about this comment for e-manage :

Additional features are built into the system but are only accessible through the use of the e0-1 programmer or our PC-Windows based "e-Manage Support Tool" communication software (Consult your tuner, both are optional extra).

Haha sorry mate i just sold mine to another forumer here.
With regards to the comment, in my opinion if you are not a tuner by trade, it is no use making all the features in the world available cos a lay-person will just screw up the settings. therefore if u gonna get a tuner to tune the car be it with vafc or emanage, why does it matter whether we the end user can or cannot access those features. I have a fren who knew nuts about tuning and he did his traffic light tunes on his safc and itc, all he did was screw up the ignition timing...the car idled like fug and in the end he had to dyno it again cos he didnt copy down the settings. so imho best to leave it to the experts.

o yeah.... definitely... i will get it done properly if i wanna do it.... but the thing is i dont understand of these extra options for emanage... so which one do i need and which i dont need??? cos with vafc2, all the thing you needed are in this one unit... may be add another ITC.... but emanage???? i dont know

emanage does both ignition and fueling
vafc only fueling

emanage is better - laptop tuning vs gameboy tuning

Andy explains y vafc2 is a bit useless for the price

Zimp13

yes it's cheaper but on the downside it has less tuning pts
best option is still emanage
