Another thing I'm missing is the auto folding side mirrors when you turn off the ignition.
I'm pretty sure the Accords sold in Japan would have this. Wonder if this is so and if I could just import second hand mirror assembly from Japan?

I'm pretty sure the NZ cl9's have folding mirrors as well as in japan.
here's a thread with info: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?95743-Automatic-folding-side-mirrors-when-doors-are-locked

Our Euro here in NZ has the button beside the mirror adjustment key. It doesn't folded automatically when you turn your key off.

might be too much trouble if you have to install the button as well. I assume I'd have to buy the whole mirror assembly from a wrecker in NZ or Japan. Plus the button assembly.
wrt my other thread, do the CL9s in NZ have auto headlights?

Did you mean, auto driving lights on while you drive? if that's what you mean, NO we don't.
If you want to check some honda wrecker in NZ here is the site http://www.hondaspeed.co.nz/
But I have to warn you that shipping might kill the price.

I mean auto on when it gets dark. Light switch should have off/on/auto. When in auto mode the lights should be controlled by a light sensor in the dash (i think). I might look into this when I'm in Japan 'cause I need to get a new (or second hand) sunroof window anyway.

There's users wrecking a Lux Accord Euro w/ sunroof so you should PM them.
Back to your original question, I've completed this mod by buying two side mirriors and the mirror switch.
They do not automatically fold in once you turn the car off. They are manually controlled by the button.
I won't be bothered personally at all

Which user is that? I need a sunroof for my CL9. Rubber has come lose at one spot and apparently you can't replace or fix the rubber. Have to buy the whole damn window. About $1,000 new but have seen them for $250 second hand including the whole assembly.

It's a handy feature to have especially if you have a tight fit in your garage. Money wise not worth a lot to most people.

You can manually fold them and make a motor noise as you do so.

Also, I think it comes down to personal preference. I sourced mine cheap so I decided to go ahead with it. They also come with a blue tinge on the mirror which is an added bonus for me.

Did you get yours second hand from NZ or Japan? I think there's a place on yahoo auctions that specializes in auto parts in Japan.
