helping mate install a new alarm, we have so far got the alarm to go off when trunk is open, but we are trying to figure out how to open trunk with the remote key itself.

We think we have found the correct wire ( ek 97 cxi ) but have blown 2 fuses , will this need a relay circuit. Please help.

The fuses we tried were 15a and 7.5a

Not quite sure if it already had one , the latch is on the driver side door and that opens the boot ,

needs a motor to open bor.
you hook it up near rear trunk latch.
wire it to a relay for 12v motor power, input from alarm, good idea to use diode.

Thanks , what do boot motors go for the boot ..
And I'm trying to enable the immobiliser , there 2 green thick leads coming from the ignition which I've put into two leads from the relay , yellow wire from relay to alarm and there another white wire out of the relay ( don't no where it goes to ?)

you need to read the alarm manual. the motor pulls the boot cable when you signal alarm via remote.

you can use an aftermarket door motor with spring connected to where the cable goes on the boot lock, works well and cheep.
