I currently own a civic vti coupe with the d16y8 in it..
i am in the process of getting a jdm b16a with gear box loom but no ecu..
what problem will i run in if i do the swap????
or should i buy the VTIR hatch?????
im getting the engine and gear box for 1500...
please help
and Have a happy new year

Use your original ecu, use your original wiring loom, drop the engine in make it fit and let me make it work.

Personally, my answer would be to sell the VTi and get a VTiR Coupe instead.

Why re-invent the wheel?
