cusco type 1 lower strut

Hey guys did a quick search and couldn't find a definite answer anyone had any clearance issues with the cusco lower strut and the cat. Looks aweful tight and another issue may be the heat from the cat affecting the strength of the bar...
Anyone know anything about it?
