No...

It doesn't matter where the car is purchased, the restriction is based on your license not locality of car registration.

You can only drive turbo legally if you apply for an exemption.

also later down the road they will make exceptions for eco turbo cars

I think the most likely next step is for them to make it power to weight based.
OR
you tell them your moving to WA and get WA P's then you can have a turbo charged car since over west we still have no restrictions.

No, its if you have an ACT licence you can drive a turbo car on your P's. But you will need to be a permanent resident of ACT. Yes you can go through the hassle to pretend you live in ACT, but why bother wasting all the money to "move" on paper to ACT.

Just go through your p plates like anyone else. And this is coming from another p plater.

Same with WA license.

Ever think about insurance? If you try to make any claim, they will reject you. You hit a mercedes? You're paying for it. You hit a traffic light or power/telephone pole? Youre paying for it. (mind you, those poles cost upwards of $20,000. Not even joking...)

Stay legal.

the road authorities are covered by insurance however their insurance will sue your insurance for it

in which case, if you don't have any.. you bear the liability 100%

And the purpose of dosing is?

Edit:
Just realised im on a honda forum where the general consensus of having vtec is to hear the crossover. Bunch of attention seekers :(

Though a Cappa with a Hayabusa or 2 Hayabusa into a small V8...

657cc stock. can get a solid 150kw out of the little ****er though :D

Busa engines are too heavy on their own, let alone getting the radical v8. Busa's have been put into cappos a few times and the only ones that work well are the proper race cars. Swiss cheesed shell as its been converted into a space frame chassis more or less. The guys who go that far also change suspension setups (seen one with a similar x brace sussy to what the current koenigseggs use). All in all, not really a streetable setup lol.

Small engines dont make easy power and as a driver you really do notice.

Yeah, been in a few of my friends ones, its good fun =P

About the closest to a road legal go cart with some creature comfort.

i seen one busa-ccino racing in perth engine is more or less in the car then the hood and the tank was the passenger seat.

Chernoby1

Yea not a fan of passenger seat setups. Theres a guy in the uk with a busa mounted under the bonnet. That car runs shocks from an A1gp car and some titanium springs made for a mountain bike. Yep. Some guys be cray.

I think I know who you talking about...

I also know Cappuccino Sport offer a conversion LOL

Wayne from chipwizarss or something like that.

Capp sport has been out of business for aggggges now lol. Fairfax motorsport is probs the best people to build a cappo. Zcars did a good turbo busa conversion but not sure if they will make a kit for it like they implied ;)

The GTi is also legal for a P plater in NSW. Its not part of the list. The new models from 10-13. They are turbo. There is a weight to power ratio i believe.

But be careful, as the GTi is on the prohibited list for VIC.

get a sleeper if you want a turbo car. go for a chaser or a 1/2j cressida if u have the money. cops will never look twice! if you dont have the money, gor for a hh vr4, gsr lancer, liberty rs, forester or even a b4! and if thats still not what you want, turbo a honda and keep it stock. or do what i did and put an sr20det into a pulsar and keep it granny spec on the outside.
(i currently have an exemption though so not really a problem for me)

OR...

dont be a douch and wait it out like everyone else!
