S80 Gearbox only going half way into reverse.

So yeah it won't go into reverse fully, just half way. Tried pumping clutch, tried going from all gears into reverse, still nothing. Only goes in half way even with car turned off.

Try making the car go forward/back a little then it should go in

Was it rebuilt recently ? Idle shaft / reveres shaft might be in upside down or the selector might be bent etc

Not sure if it was built recently. Bought the car 2.5 months ago. The problem occurred when changing from 2nd to 3rd at about 7500 and crunched and didn't go in ever since.
