Wiring Diagram for a K20A Type R engine

Hi Guys,

My name is Simon and I'm new to the forum so please be kind.

I race a Lotus Elise in Production Sports Cars that sports a supercharged k20A engine in the back of it. So my Honda interest relates specifically to the engine and it's ancillaries.

Current car runs a Motec M800 ECU and we are currently in the process of installing a holinger 6 speed sequential box along with a number of other upgrades. As part of the car rebuild I'm really keen to tidy up the wiring on the engine (and now gearbox) and wanted to see if anyone had a copy of the wiring diagram so I can start to see how it all hangs together. I've search around on the net but so far I've not found what I'm after.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Simon. I think everything you need can be found in the US RSX service manual, go to www.hondahookup.com and sign up for an account and you can download the manual there. The RSX engine harness is identical except their motors have a VTEC pressure switch and bits for the cruise control (I think, unsure on the second point).

I'd be interested to hear your experiences with the Holinger once you've got in the car and running.

Thanks for the fast reply. I'll jump on there now for a look.

Initial thoughts on the Holinger that it is incredibly small and light for what it is. The build quality is amazing and everything just bolted straight onto the engine. The gear stick they supplied is also awesome with a strong detent and strain gauge built in to knob to enable the ignition cut on the up shifts. I've tried to include a couple of photos so hope this helps.
