the more compression you throw at the skunk 2's the better the results.

you will need aftermarket ecu too

I had rotten luck with my Stage 1 cams and ended up selling them.

Did you have any form of tunable ECU or VAFC in the car or you just put the cams in and was wanting results from them. What other mods where done to the car as these cams make very good power in STD H22A engines.

James (BLKCRX) and myself tuned a H22a not long ago and it was a very basic setup but made very good power and the mods where as follow's.
Skunk2 Stage-1 cams
Skunk2 valve springs
A very poor set of 4-2-1 headers (but it was all the customer could afford)
Home made intake
2.5" Exhaust
Hondata S200
And this setup made 142KW which surprised me as the customer and his Dad had put it together and got the cam timing within 1 degree of perfect for this setup.
Hope this helps

Equipment were as following;

AEM CAI
Tanabe 4-2-1 Header
Tanabe Hyper Medallion Exhaust
Hi-Flo Cat
Skun2 Stage 1 Camshafts
Skunk2 Camgears
Malpassi FPR
Apexi VAFC
2.5" through

Car was worked on for 8 weeks and taken to the dyno about 10 times. It was just running far to lean. We think the cams were maybe stage 2 but not sure. I wasted $4000 and ended up back on stock parts 8 weeks later.

I wanted to bring the car up to you and McChook but it just wasnt feasable. I could get ANY acceleration from the car..the revs would rise bu no power....put the stock ones back in and straight away I had my power back....

God dam I wish I had a manual car. This little expedition as I said cost me just a smidgen over $4,000 and had me withouth a car for 8 weeks. The worst thing was that I was back at square 1 after all that cost and time....and in that time and for that cost, I could have gotten my rims and bodykit....and had change....

Oh welll :)
