Vtec problem!

Hey guys

While driving tonight i encountered a problem, when i engage vtec it will kick in like normal and then when i back off then cars throttle response is crap and feels like its empty on fuel and then when i come to a complete stop the revs completely stop and then eventually stall and shut down, after it shuts down and i start the car up again it'll start like normal and idle like normal and drive like normal.. problem only happens after i engage vtec same problem happens and start the car up again its fine again.

what could be the problem :confused:

check your fuel filter which could be dirty, spark plugs could be old, and your coil pack not firing up to normal rate.
i encountered a similar problem with my turbo dc2, the revs drop and it will idle funny and unstable. which then turned out to be spark plugs that carbon up quick
