how many k's? IF you're high k's dont do it.. if you'r elow k's go for it.

reason being is that you could disloge some of the built up sludge and jam it somewhere critical causing engine failure.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to curtis265 again...

Don't bother with engine flush. Just change the oil every 6 months or 10,000 km.

What sort of service history does it have?

If it has been done on time, everytime, it doesnt really matter how many km's are on the car, use it.

If it has a poor service history eg: skipped or overdue services, dont use.

As curtis said, it will dislodge sludge that will usually block the oil pick up

A safer way of a 'flush' would be change oil and.drive it for 2-3 days and change again. And drive it for another day then change again . Should be pres clean then lol

They say you can do that with diesel oil for a flush

I think you mean diesel fuel. I have used it in the past and works pretty well

i thought it was diesel oil because it had some cleaning properties?

damn, i have been using this (http://www.liqui-moly.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/2784.png) each time i change my oil. didnt know i could actually be dislodging crap causing damage :(

It should be fine. Just keep changing oil on time.

In regards to oil change, I only just bought a Euro couple of months ago and serviced it at Honda straight away, they refilled all fluids etc.
Should I be checking how much oil is there every now or then or is it fine to just let them do it every 6 months?

There were a few Euro engine's that were 'lemons' - they consumed alot of oil between oil changes
Just make sure you have enough oil
