Yo,

Im upgrading my engine wiring due to dimming headlights and audio install. I can do the alternator to -ve and chassis to -ve easily but where (specifically) would i find the engine to chassis ground?

btw, im incompetent with engines so be descriptive :p

F22b1 btw.

Cheers :)

Edit: and for anyone who has done this, should i just replace the 8ga with 4ga OR have them both there. As in, the more the better.

usually it's on the driver's side. look for cable from engine to chassis, most likely near the bottom edge of the engine. There could be one more on the passengers side, under the air filter box (euro has 2 ground cable from engine to chasis).

Call me insane, but my car seems quite a lot more responsive after upgrading the earth wiring.

Cost, $20. Helped the problem of dimming lights to an extent. Highly recommended especially if your existing wires look as bad as mine did. Took about 2 hours all up - a bit fiddly but not too hard with the right tools.
