hi just completed a b16a2 conversion into a ek civic... the motor will not start..? it winds over but wont fire... leads and plugs are working... imobiliser has been re coded, earths have been re checked, fuel pressure is fine,everything is right? had ppl look at the motor and they cant find a prob?? has anyone had any problems with this type of thing on this conversion b4?????

i know this sounds stupid but did you put oil and coolant in the motor???

make sure there has good spark, fuel and cylinder compression.

coolant goes in the radiator and oil will go in where the cap labelled 'oil' is. dont overfil it. fil slowly and check your dipstick.

check out the DIY section of the site. a guy did a conversion to a CXI and didnt bring across the b16 ingition or something (using the stock cxi stuff), cant remmber. anyways he had the exact same problem.

Did you check if ur Air flow meter if it is connected properly?
Had a problems with my mates Nissan after we changed its spark plugs
the air flow meter sensor was kinda knocked out of place so after couple of mins we fixed it... If it aint that then i dunno wat it is >.<

Hondas don't have air flow meter, they use MAP sensors
