I have a fault on my Legend ABS. Light comes on shortly after driving off, then stays on until the engine is switched off.

Could anyone recommend a good Honda mechanic in the Ryde / Strathfield area of Sydney?

Replace the abs adaptor. Go to wreckers hontoys or honbits they will have it.

Its a small plug on your calipers that leads into the engine bay, trace the wire back and detatch it and re attach the new one.

Total cost: approx 50bucks?

should diagnose the abs code before try to replace parts i reckon.

Did you have the park brake on whilst the car was in motion? i didnt release the park brake all the way.

I made that mistake once, and had to reset the ABS module by removing the relay, a particular Honda dealer wanted to replace the whole ABS system.

Thanks for the tips.

I have tried pulling the relay switch, and unfortunately did nothing.

I have pulled the code, and get one quick blink, then nothing (no repeat). Seems odd, has anyone else encountered this before?

One blink on ABS is the ABS pump motor overrun according to the manual. I will try go through the test procedure on this one.

The 50amp ABS motor fuse wire is also a black colour, not copper, though does not look blown.

Any ideas?

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to mocchi again.

I have had this problem in my old em1, apparently its common in honda's try replacing the adapter.
