Before the previous trackday @ Sydney Motorsport park last weekend we decided to quickly service the S2000 (oil/oil filter/gearbox oil) and quickly changed over to 70mm single outlet titanium exhaust.

From butt dyno, car rev'ed out nicer in the top end. This was evident when the S2000 was trapping close to 195km/hr down SMSP straight (GPS logging).

So we had a chance to throw it back on the dyno a few days after the trackday to see the power difference and it did pick up more HP. As you can see from the dyno plot gains are up too 5% overall once vtec engages.

- The 70mm titanium is constructed with 1mm thickness giving a overall diameter internally 68mm.

- 60mm stainless steel catback constructed with 1.6mm thickness, inside diameter 56.8mm.

- Total percentage area increase - 43% increase

- OEM headers /OEM intake /OEM CAT

I have Toda headers with dual Toda 60mm exhaust. Do you think I should be looking into swapping to a single 70mm exhaust.
This gains look significant.

Btw what dual exhaust were these ?

Brands? Mufflers?

If you want optimal power and don't mind a loud exhaust swap it over to 70mm single outlet. Dual exhaust was a stainless steel, mid muffler/ dual rear mufflers. Regardless of brand it was only 60mm.
