hey guys just wanting to know whats a good brake upgrade for a ed civic since it has drum brakes i want to upgrade them, i know da9 brakes are a good upgrade was just wondering if any other car brakes would work on a ed civic, example dc2 integra brakes could work just gives it positive camber, cant seem to find if ek civic brakes would work?

thanks for any input

Hi there
Da9 or EF8/9 262mm on the front end 4x100
EF8 knuckles are better due longer steer arm angle close to ed
DA9 has storter steering arm off the knuckle
Most people go with DA9 due to them being so freely available than tracking down ef8 crx or ef9 civic knuckls

You can put 5x114.3 and 4x114.3 if you use hubs from Dc2r pre 96 for 4x114.3 studs or post 97 for 5x114.3
and
any disc brake rear trailing from civic ed, eg and ek or intenga da9 and dc2 will bolt into ed

they do fit, but you will have too much positive camber, even a camber kit wont be able to fix it.

I know this is a very old thread but I need some help to get my ed brakes upgrade. It’s very hard to find DA9 and i have been looking everywhere. What are other options to upgrade my ED?
Thanks in Advance
