When shutting the car down.
i can hear the booster leaking out.
like a prolonged Hissing noise, the pedal feel isnt odd.

but then i haven't felt it before then since i got it off a DC2 wreck and put it in played with some other vacuum lines so just presumed it was the other ones, until i went through and replaced them this morning.

1. with engine OFF, pump brake pedal repeatedly until it becomes hard (usually about 4-6 pumps)
2. keep brake pedal depressed firmly
3. start engine
4. as engine starts, and begins to generate intake manifold vacuum, brake pedal should "fall away" under the pressure of your foot. If it does NOT do this, your booster is defective, and the repair is a new booster.

it is hard anyway, and if i have my foot on the brake and then start the clutch does depress, the booster is still working, but it is also leaking (must be a small hole) just wandering if this will cause extra air to enter the IM and affect the idle or if will only affect the idle with the foot on brake.
or if anyone had a similar experience.

From riding in your civic your idle is fine man
It doesnt go up to 1500 rpm, 1000rpm then down to 500rpm etc.?

sometimes it drops quite low and then will go back to 900 and then keep going between the 2 like its lost.

While the engine is at temp.? or warming up
