I'm looking at getting a 2010 Euro but just want to know how simple are these cars to service and repair? Are most parts easy to get at (such as water pump, thermostat, alternator, etc) or do they require a lot of specialist tools?

I'm a diesel fitter by trade so would like a car that I can work on myself but I guess it would be difficult if these cars require too much specialist knowledge. Thanks

Can be tricky given the longitudinal configuration, but not impossible

If you have worked on corollas and camrys in the past, they are no harder. Just people make it seem so

It's Japanese. It can't be hard.... can't say the same about the french though....

^ so true. japanese cars are relatively simple, especially the AUDM models, since no fancy electronics to deal with.

Just require small asian hands.

not much space under them bonnets of an accord euro compared to likes to corolla/camry.
