Hi,
Looking at picking up an FN2R in the coming months and just wondering what would be the best bang for buck stage 1 mods? Completely new to the Honda world, im told intake, exhaust and flash tune are the go?
Just wondering what are some recommendations for each?
cheers

It really depends on your style. If you go for stance/aesthetics then perhaps some wheels first? If performance then what you mentioned sounds gewd

Best bet would be a cold air intake, a set of 4-2-1 headers and a 3in exhaust with a high flow cat, twin resonators and rear muffler, along with a tune.
You could also look into a 70mm throttle body to go on the RSP manifold (but the manifold will require port matching)
If you are in Melb, drop me a PM to discuss further

the J-Tune is pretty pricey too. 5500 + labour just for an exhaust intake + tune....

Get a lightened flywheel. I guarantee you will smash another FN2R with I/H/E

a flywheel alone doesn't make you faster does it o.0

I had mugen headers, hi flow cat, toda catback and gruppem on my k24 dc5. when I parted it out it lost that extra bit of kick but still dollar for dollar the lightened fly was the best mod I ever did.

Yup.
Be wary of highways though, you will sit at a higher rpm and the exhaust drone will be torture. If you keep it stock should be alright.

+1. Most noticeable change. 5.06 is very short though and wouldn't suit everyone's driving conditions.
