Hi guys, looking to get my valve cover powdercoated, anybody done this? I have a few concerns with paint going on the inside of the cover or on any of the mating surfaces

can't ya just sand those bits back? Surely they mask it off properly

Have done it a few times, just mask the back off like you would if you were painting it and you can sand the little bits off that cause concern.

I wasn't aware you could mask with powdercoat because they bake at such a high temp? I don't think they have as much control as where the paint goes compared with spray paint

Nope you dont, but coat it with the power and then carefully remove the masking prior to baking it. That's what I'v done and worked fine.
