civic green key flashing wont start

hi peeps need some help with this...i have a 1996 ej8 automatic.it wont start and the green key is blinking...key is not chipped.i think its got a problem with the immobiliser..but not sure what/where to look for.was thinking of bypassing the ecu.but would that help or do i also need to bypass the immobiliser control..any help would be great...thanks

you must use the key with the transponder in it otherwise the green key will blink.

if you have lost your transponder (chip) in the key and have no other keys you have 2 options

either bypass the immobiliser or have the immobiliser system replaced. I can recode new keys into a Immo system with all keys lost or with out the red key if required.

search this forum for the Immo bypass in the ECU. If you have the P2P ECU (D16Y4) then the DIY will not work and you will need a Immo bypass module.

thanks ecu-man.its all sorted...was suppose to buy the car...apparently transporder chip fell off..cheers again...
