QFM HPX, like Bendix Ultimate but without the dust. Or just get regular QFM Super X which are just your everday pads, despite the "super" tag. Support Aussie jobs. Bendix GCT are safe bet if you really want. You're rotors being slotted basically means anything under light track pads are good. So any performance road pad will work fine with them.

When I could feel the shuddering going on my rotors during highway braking it was time to look at brakes.
And to my surprise as others have said Bendix CT's I couldn't fault them when I had both rotors replaced with fresh bendix pads.

Its not only was very very smoothe stopping which I could feel an improvement immediately but also in the cold mornings there was no squeeking or squealing that I would get with early morning brakes.
And NO I don't drive the CL9 like I stole it :p but even any little sound coming from my CL9 I wanted it fixed.

Bendix CT's

Other ozhonda threads on CL9 brakes.. that's worth a read.

What exactly are you guys using the car for though?

If normal DD, then most of the recommendations made are on the money... However if after some fun or trackwork then might want to reconsider...

Pads sit fine. I got them through GSL RallySport. Front disc were $170 at the time. Not sure about the rear pads though. Funny enough, Euro's are known to wear out their rears pretty quick, but mine still have half left. Guess it's cos I don't keep tightening my handbrake with each service.

Yeah, I don't think they make T3 for rears anymore, they still make them for fronts though, as far as I can gather.

If you to spirited runs, you might want to consider pads stronger than say GCTs for the front anyway. The CL9 is ~1400kg [Give or take, depend if Auto/Manual/Specs] so its not a light car by any means. Obviously it depends how 'hard' you push on your fun runs, but brakes + tyres are crucial to both your ability to control and your safety.

Chaosmaster recommended both QFM Super X and HPX. I'm unsure of the Super X cause I've not used them but judging by reviews and specs they're good, however I know the HPX will be a good choice. Its gentle enough on your rotors + retains most of the OEM pad manners while provided good resistance to fade and iirc it has good bite [I'm guessing ~0.4X friction coefficient off guesstimate].

You could also consider others like Endless NS97 or Project Mu B-Spec =)

QFM Super X from QFM otherwise you can go for Bendix GCTs [Available from Supercheap + other retailers]. Just don't ask me for my opinion with GCTs, it might scare you LOL

As mentioned, QFM HPX are like Bendix Ultimate in terms of performance, Super X is their GCT equiv, only cheaper.

i found project mu SS-Y pretty good pads compare to the EBC red and green i have used

its on my track day car, and SS-Y seems to brake harder and doesnt fade after 3 laps at barbagallo long track. (3 laps are what they allow you to run each run)

RDA are the appointed Distributors of EBC Brakes but there are other brake specialist that carry EBC so, should not be hard to pinpoint one.

Checked their specs... The official sites say 0-400 while some others say 0-600...
They're made from Titanium + Carbon...
