HID kit installation

Hi guys. I am helping a friend install a HID kit on his standard cl9. I am confused as to why the bulb is not fitting into the projector. We have H1 bulbs and kit from DDM. The hid bulb looks bigger than the halogen ones. Very annoyed! Lol thanks

Known issue with these DDM kits. Take it as a sign not to install.

You do know you're putting a HID bulb into a halogen projector, and it isn't road legal to retrofit this way? They will glare oncoming drivers. Not as bad as HIDs in reflector headlights, but still bad.

Apart from the projector issue, HIDs are required to have headlight washers and auto levelers to be legal.

Please do other road users a favour and don't help with installing that cheap junk.
