Vents Smelly

Hi guys,

Just wondering how i can get rid of the foul smell when i turn on my fan or aircon? after a while the smell goes away, but then the very next time i turn it on again, same thing, the smell is going through the vents...is there like a filter in the air vents that needs cleaning?

you can get some kind of oder killer stuff you pour down the vents from out side by the wiper arms. I just cant remember what its was called, worked well

That smell that you get through you aircon is actually bacteria if im not mistaken, there is a product that is available that will kill all the crap in your aircon system and car in general. It virtually makes it smell clean and fresh. I cant remember what it is called but its like a bug bomb. you set it off and it fills the car with some gas type thing and you set you aircon to full and it clears the whole system. I know autobarn sells it but im not really sure where else. Just go to an auto parts store and ask for an airconditioning cleaner. I think they are about $30 but dont quote me on that. Hope this helped
